Abstract
Currently, it is considered proven that osteochondrosis of the spine is the most severe form of degenerative-dystrophic lesions of the spine. This process is based on degeneration of the intervertebral disc with subsequent involvement of the bodies of adjacent vertebrae, intervertebral joints, intracanal ligamentous apparatus, spinal cord, its roots and neuroreflex mechanisms (1,3,6,7).
